Part of Dinwiddie #4 (timed auction by Fred Wilson Auction Service LLC)

High bid $28.00

Status: Sold

This hand-painted wooden mallard duck decoy offers a distinctive dual function as both a decorative piece and a storage container. Designed with a removable top piece that unveils a hollowed interior, it was likely intended for storing small items or supplies. The craftsmanship showcases attention to detail in the duck's coloring, particularly in the head and wings. It would appeal to those interested in functional decor or hunting memorabilia. Estimated to date anywhere from mid to late 20th century.
