This 1979-S Susan B. Anthony Dollar is a Proof Type 1 variety, characterized by its filled 'S' mintmark. Struck at the San Francisco Mint in limited quantities, this coin represents an early production proof from the Susan B. Anthony Dollar series, issued during its inaugural release year. Housed in a protective holder, it retains its pristine proof finish, offering a sharp strike with reflective surfaces.
