Part of Silver Bonanza (timed auction by Fred Wilson Auction Service LLC)

High bid $85.00

Status: Sold

This auction offers a set of eight 1947 Walking Liberty Half Dollars, an iconic design minted by the United States Mint. Designed by Adolph A. Weinman, the Walking Liberty motif is celebrated for its depiction of liberty in motion, a symbol of American resilience post-World War II. These coins, struck in 90% silver, mark the final year of this design’s issue before being replaced by the Franklin Half Dollar in 1948. Perfect for both historical appreciation and numismatic collections.
